Do you like the original montecristo range? I've not tried any of the opens personally so can't comment on that. However I am a fan of monte 4s. Not sure id want a lighter version as I think the bitter sweet balance of the normal range is already pretty much perfect. If I fancy a lighter smoke I just choose a lighter brand.
however if you like the normal montes but wish they were a little lighter I suppose they would be a smart choice

I had one given to me at a wedding about three years ago. I can't remember which one, but it was flavoursome enough.
It was the way, but may not be so much now, but as this range was not popular for some years, it was quite easy to pick relatively older sticks up.
You'll never know, 'til you give one a go"Go you good things...geddem int'ya"

I really bag an proper cigars with M 4s and I tried an open about month or so ago. Really didn't work for me I'm afraid. Said at time perhaps just a bad stick. Went back to supplier and they were [emoji106] with a discounted second Montecristo 2
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk...They're probably drinking whiskey and smoking big cigars...
