  • Cracks in wrapper

Hi guys. Was really looking forward to smoking my Partagas Serie P No.2 today as I had one of those rare moments of sunshine and just me and the missus in the pub with no kid!! When I opened it the cap end was cracked so I put it back in the tube and had a wintermans instead which was OK but I doubt as good. Pic of the cigar below anything that can be done about the cracks or are they anything to worry about at all?

A small amount of torcedor glue would save it, I'm sure it is documented on the forum somewhere of an alternative to the glue also.
It should be fine..Only way to tell is to smoke it!

Clip with double bladed cutter & then moisten end laying any wrapper flat & smoke. Put down the Henri Wintermann's & move away... you smoke real hand rolled cigars these days!

Yes, stay away from the wintermans man

Cake glue is the one, cheap as chips online and better than the torcedor glue IMHO As Simon says, stick any little flaps back down and you'll be good to go.

Some of will remember "Simon says" won't we?

Thanks guys. Ordering some now. Crack appears quite deep and more than a loose wrapper so will go carefully. K

I cant remember if i posted this before.

I dont think flour and water is a bad call if used sparingly.

Hopefully all will work out well and you can still get an enjoyable smoke from it.
