Just smoked one of these coronas about 2 weeks ago and what a great cigar it was. I know there will be a lot of new cigar smokers reading the posts on here that are maybe not members yet and looking for a good beginner cigar and to be honest you can't go far wrong with one of these. there were a few burn issues but i was outside and if you are a beginner don't be put off by that because you will have to relight it anyway just because your not used to smoking cigars yet. its the flavours and the lightness of the smoke that really make this cigar special and I'm putting in an order for some more now. I believe I was recommended this cigar by someone on here as it is not really a common cigar.

I've enjoyed every QdO I have ever smoked, but don't smoke as many as I should. The Belicoso France RE they made a few years ago was outstanding (I have a couple of the one they released recently as well, which I'm looking forward to smoking soon as well

I love QdO. I love the Panatela and the regionals and I really should smoke more QdO in general. They're a bit like JL in that respect, fantastic Marca but for some reason I don't give them enough of my time. I'm guilty of smoking RA, LGC and Partagas at the cost of the others that I like. Bolivar is in danger of being in the same group and that's insane.

The QdO Panatela is a great smoke, as with all long thin cigars it take some practice to get the best from it, it's a shame they discontinued it in 2010.
A good few of the long thin cigars disappeared around that time, Partagas Serie Connaisseur range, ERDM Grandes de Espana, LGC Medallie d'Or 1&3. They said at the time that these had poor sales but I suspect they wanted to free up the experienced torcedors to roll more LE's and RE's, it takes a lot of skill to roll the long thin cigars, you only need to look at the Medallie d'Or 3 (28-175) to see that it is a work of rolling art, having smoked many of the LGC Md'OR line I've not had a bad one yet....
