Evening gents. Sorry I haven't been around much just been busy with work. Anyway I'm still getting off readings. I've tried the boveda packs at 69% but it still hasn't worked. I'm now reading at 55% RH and I'm starting to worry. I've check my hygrometer by buying a calibration kit so it's not that. My humidor is seems fine. Shall I re season it? Any help appreciated. Cheers.

Just out of curiosity, whereabouts is your humidor located?
At this time of year, central heating systems can play havoc with your humidity levels.
You may need to move it further away from the nearest radiator, or move it into a room where there's less chance of temperature swings.
Failing that, have you considered switching to 'Heartfelt Beads'..?
I find them easier to maintain and stabilise than boveda packs.
Cheers

Temperature can and does affect the relative humidity, but it does not change the amount on moisture in the environment and this is why RH can be a terrible measure.Licky Licky before Sticky Sticky. - Puff Scotty 22/03/14
