Wasn't the Culebra originally released in a dress box of 25 (when they were machine made) Given they're twisted in threes, that would account for a single. These in this thread may (and look) be very old. Pre '60s. Very rare, I suggest and worth something to a collector, rather than smoker...
As often, just a thought"Go you good things...geddem int'ya"

I still think their just suspect at the moment, the seller never called them culebras, he called them Churchills (and Partagas made a Churchill sized cigar until 2006 - the churchill was 1/2 an inch smaller than the Lusi. Is the cigar 7 inches long (give or take a little), and if you can measure it with a ring gauge of 47/64s inch?
It is a concern that according to CCW this band for culebras wasn't made until 2007 but even then it's possible that there was a bit of cross over). We also need to remember that Cuba doesn't get the quality control of their cigars perfect all the time, let alone the bands
Don't get me wrong - I would be concerned but I would suggest discussing your concerns with the vendor rather than confront him. This link is to a useful page you might want to browse:
Who was the vendor by the way? Ultimately a trust worthy vendor is far more important that any band, barcodes or our opinions on a few photos

I think you've hit the nail on the head there Chris as that's what it says on the Cuban Cigar Website and here is the label

What is the size of the cigar @kipper?

The band looks a bit loose but I suspect they've dried out a bit, many ways to tell fakes but my go to test is to stand the foot of the cigar on a flat surface and it should stand on it's own, which it wouldn't if it had been poorly constructed and cut.
Let us know how they smoke.
