Won ?80 yesterday off a ?1 bet, so naturally I'm happy. Any suggestions on a sampler set? As I'm still a newbie, I want to sample all cigars before I declare my love for one.
I can't recommend anything specific in terms of a package, but I'd likely lean towards some of the smaller sized cigars: petit or tres petit coronas for example. That way you'd get a little more bang and variety for your ?.
Make your own sampler, maybe petit corona or robusto of all the major Cuban brands?
I'd leave Cohiba out though, they're expensive and not great when young

Make my own? Where can I do that?
I normally smoke petit coronas.
I've tried
Cohiba
Montecristo
RYJ
Punch
Partagas
Bolivar
Just looking to try something new. The bolivar I had was too tightly rolled and I couldn't get a decent draw from it at all but I will try another as I do only hear good things about them.
Open to any and all suggestions on ones to try CC or NC
Slightly leaning towards the Siglo VI. As from a previous post they seem to go down a right treat. My only worry is having one that's too young and my experience being slightly tarnished. Any way to find out how old they are when buying online? Or where to buy an aged one?

In your shoes tommy I would start on corona sized cigars and then progress to thicker guage cigars wether Cubans or non Cubans
bit like serving an apprenticeship just my honest opinion on this other members might have different ideas
but it's your choice which route you take.
I agree with Tony there, either that or buy a Siglo VI and age it yourself for a year or so and then it'll be a proper treat this time next year or for Christmas etc
But yeah the corona size is a good starting point, I like H Upmann as a medium bodied sweeter/nutty cigar brand, just my opinion though
I am taking the approach recommended by TonyN There's such a range to try I want to feel as though I've made a journey of discovery, so to speak. Matt Wall's suggestion of laying down a Cohiba is a good one. Once I've ogt a more established collection I'll start to do this as well.
If you fancy a CVI with age, perhaps just buy one and celebrate your good fortune, whether you smoke it now or further ahead. I'm sure if you rang around a few vendors, you'd find one.
Personally, and I'll likely get slated here, I wouldn't bother your bottom with an NC unless you're sure it's got a top pedigree and one you really like the sound of. It's a minefield IMHO Tommy.
Back to my earlier thoughts about smaller sticks: Cuaba Traditionales, Partagas Short and the Ramon Allones Small Club Corona will each give you a fairly good idea of the flavours/profile of each brand and won't be prohibitively expensive.
