I notice that a bit on PLPC's, I also find that the gold bands have green spots on them very frequently, must have something to do with the way they add the gold metal paint to the paper I assume.
Just some water marks Tommy, nothing to worry about. These green marks are visible on cigars with Claro shade wrappers like Cohiba's, La Gloria Cubana, Trinidad and of course Por Larranaga

Perfect answer!
Absolutely nothing to do with gold paper.

At the risk of sounding simple, in that case why aren't filler leaves that colour as they are constantly exposed to sunlight?
I'm glad someone raised this as I thought exactly the same. Also, without disrespecting derrek, the ray of sunlight theory would imply that that the wrapper is extremely close to the shade cloth otherwise the dispersal of light would be wide and of insignificant focus. There again, WTF do I know?
Good question guys ... Can't say I know the exact answers .
filler leaf colour must be in the processing .
as to the size of the green spots ... A pin hole is a pin hole weather the covers are 4 feet high or 8 feet high ... The backlight is 93 million miles away .
derrek
tourists bring home souvenirs ... explorers bring home stories .

The laws of physics would disagree. Otherwise the camera would not work, neither would our eyes..... It's called Focal point and it's measured in f stops.
