CGars were always my port of call when I was getting started - excellent range plus knowledgeable guys at the end of the phone/email practically 24/7. It was not unusual to have discuss what I should try next via email at 3am - often with Mitch himself taking the midnight shift! I still use them occasionally, but try to spread the love a little bit and pick things up whilst away on holiday where I can.

I know they say on the site 'customer service via email 24hrs a day' but that's really living up to the promise!

I don't think there is any need to apologise - we just can't discuss overseas vendor as it could start to stray into the world of tax avoidance etc.

We had a long discussion on CGars recently, I still use them fairly regularly as I find their click and collect service useful, but there are plenty of other vendors in the UK who also offer excellent service and sometimes better prices so I would encourage everyone to shop around

I done my first big order from them when i started out and service was great but only get the odd singles if am around by them now

I've only ever bought from Spain and Portugal buddy.
but before this I was a customer of cgars and JJ Fox.
Both give a good service, but good service should go without saying.

I will just say that since 2006, the occasional orders I have had from Cgars Ltd have been faultless & the service second to none. I have to second the late at night emails from Mitch. Often I am working late in the Sickbay & will send a question very late, expecting an answer later the next next day, only to have it pinged back straight away, leaving me feel guilty for disturbing Mitch at such a late hr. He really should learn to switch off his messages! Anyway I for one would use them all the time if only they weren't forced to charge UK prices! Their auctions are also an excellent way to get into aged & vintage cigars, just remember to add on the extra charges & P&P.

I've not used their online service but when passing in London have popped in to pick up some singles and also enjoyed a smoke or two in their small but cosy downstairs lounge and found their prices reasonable and service to be good.

And just to add, I give credit to cgars for matching their online prices, in store, if you ask. That's something the other retailer didn't do for me.
