Cigars from Cuba.

Anyone have rough idea on the rules and prices for bringing cigars back from Cuba as I plan to go later this year before Christmas.

Each person can bring 50 back for personal use

ask for and keep your receipts in case they ask for them at the airport ( i had them but wasnt asked )

and good advice " only buy in LCDH shops "

Great so me and my girlfriend plan to go so I make that 100

All the above and depending where you go, make sure you buy from a full Habanos store, not a small one... That's what I struggled with in Holguin, where there were many understocked shops...

The problem you have with asking people there, is almost all of them will say, my friend works at a factory... Etc etc...

Just don't even be tempted and if you do want to try a fake, as I did... (Weird I know) try one when your there!

Otherwise 50 each (make sure your also in limit for alcohol - 1 litre each) and take cling film with you... I wrapped all mine there...

Fridge for 24hrs, freezer for 48-72, back in the fridge for 12 then dark room...

Well worth re-iterating the advice to only buy genuine cigars from a well stocked LCDH shop. Even sitting at the bar in the Partagas factory I was offered fakes by a guy who was there touting for fishing trip customers.
