Christmas Cigar

I know it's early yet, but I'm thinking forward and considering getting some in so they have a decent time to rest.

I have in my head the typical Christmas pudding flavours of Sherry and Dried Fruit with a bit of a Nutty finish. Does that sound like any specific stick to you?

Also, what will be your Christmas smoke?

No harm in talking about Christmas, as long as we don't see all the shops starting to put things out in august
like Selfridges did. come Christmas myself have had enough of it.

No sooner Christmas is done and dusted out come the easter eggs in January.

I would go with either the Ramon Allones 2011 EL for fruity or the HdM EL 2011. Both fruity as a Christmas pud.

Unfortunately my christmas smoke if I fit one in will need to be a short, don't really fancy sitting out in the cold for two hours

I'm thinking a VR could make a good christmas cigar though

Another Trinidad Fundadores would be nice if i could smoke in doors like last year..........if not will have to smoke one of those Monti 4's i bought from 2008 recently

I think a Fundadores was my last year Christmas smoke. I will have to check back.

Same for me, outdoors smoking only and I'll be up a mountain, though I'm buying cigars for at least 3 people, so at least I won't be out there on my own. Am following this thread with interest. Bring on the recommendations!

My local Co-op had mince pies in stock on the 1st September. Best before date was mid October :-/

Funny you should say that as the Don Alejandro appears to fit thw flavour profile. Perhaps its too big though. Im leaning towards an Epi 2.

Exactly the cigar which came to mind for me too. Christmasy, fruity, nutty, hints of brandy - perfect description!
