  • Has anyone tried these

I won some money on the football last night and feel to treat myself. Come across these and was wondering if anyone has tried these before?

Not tried one, but it must have been a big win to stretch to one of them!

That is an expensive cigar! Do you know what year they are? I personally would opt for one of the Partagas Lustiana GR (don't know their price) or a couple of decent aged ones or ELs. The Cohiba Robusto Supremos 2014 are beautiful smokes.

That's very expensive indeed! If you do splash out then be sure to let us know what its like. Looks great, mind.

Personally I would try and get my hands on some Monte A's, or would just blow a load on some Lusitanias or hunt down some ERDM Tainos (Mitch had some excellent aged ones last time I was in chester.)

Laurence Davis from Sautter Cigars smoked one on YouTube and really enjoyed it, then again I suppose he would as he's selling them, haha
Although he did say he didn't feel it was value at ?65 (the price at the time), he recommends buying a load of Monte 2's and ageing them rather than spending money on the Gran Reserva; but that's just his opinion.

I declined these art ?65, certainly wouldn't pay a ton but easy come easy go for some. I haven't tried it but from those that I have spoke to that have, it's just like an aged No2, so when a box of ten No2's can be had for less, I'd suggest laying a box down& trying the first in 5yrs.

Both, get a Bose mini soundlink and plug that into your TV, I do that and it blows the TV speakers out of the water. Maybe look at the anejos cigars rather than GR?

I second that regarding these sticks, one of which I thoroughly enjoyed before joining the forum and was like smoking a rich Xmas cake. I think I paid ?65 at the time.

Never tried that one, but at that price... I'd most likely get a tenner of Party Lusis.

I can heartily recommend the Party Lucys, they're a great smoke. Never tried the GR version but it gets a great write up. Best of luck with whatever you decide on and be sure to let us know how it went.
