  • Cigar shops Ascot or around that area

Can anyone recommend any decent cigar shops, as I'm moving out from London to Ascot this weekend and I do use James J Fox and Davidoff and find the staff really helpful. So I'm looking for a shop with that kind of service around that area. From say Kingston to Reading. Many thanks.

Near Ascot the closest place would probably be Havana Havana in Windsor. It's part of Cgars I think.

LCDH in Teddington, would be on your way into Kingston.

Tommy, there's a very useful retailer/store locator tool on the Hunters & Frankau website. It'll help you find your closest shop and also places to smoke or COSA 'Comfortable Outdoor Smoking Area' as they're being called 8)

Can highly recommend Ajay at LCDH, Teddington. A fantastically run family business with amazing stock.

The shop in Windsor seemed decent enough when I passed by it a few months ago, quite small though and I couldn't see any sort of large humidor that you might find at a CGars/JJ Fox shop but it seemed nice enough. Sells a range of lighters and other smoking things, it has the classic Red Indian chief statue outside
              Enjoy!

Wow I like the idea of a COSA. No more hiding under the beer umbrella for me. Thanks Matt I'll check the Windsor one out as its closest.

Havana House in Windsor. So not too bad for a 15-20 min drive.

Yeah, being able to relax with a drink and a smoke much more appealing than a brolly!

Looks good, no I've never been, always meant to, I should take a drive up one weekend (only in Guildford) when it's rainy. Is there a smoking lounge?

yes/ no... the shop is in Windsor station, and is about the size of a large walk in wardrobe, but is suprisingly tardis like for the amount (breadth) of stock it carries.

While there is not a lounge within the shop, the shop is in a covered and yet kind of open air arcade where there are any number of cafe's and so forth. I am pretty sure that you are able to sit outside some of these and smoke.

I'd give them a call, as they are likely to have a local favourite who is cigar friendly.
