  • If you could only choose one...

I was thinking about if I had to choose only one vitola/size cigar for the rest of my smoking days, what would it be and why? Damn hard question, given the different vitoles offer a multitude of choice, blends, strengths and fit many moods and preferences.

I love romping with a robusto, but conversely have embraced some skinnies over the last twelve months. I like 'em straight, but have always romanced perfectos and figurados. However, this isn't about aesthetics, but function, and lifestyle/smoking time at the time of choosing.

As a compromise between a fairly substantial RG and a slim bugger, I think I'd have to plump for a Petit Corona (Mareva), I think (Corona Gorda maybe, but that's not one choice)

If you had to choose only one size/vitola, what would it be and why.

I just love a torpedo as I have more control over the cut and can widen it if need be.

Torpedo is definitely one of my favorites as well. That, along with a Double Robusto, are probably my two top choices.

And if you had to choose only one...

        And why, I wonder...

I think I'd go for the corona gorda, partly because the Party E2 is one of my favourites, but also because the RG is only a little smaller than a robusto, so you potentially get the best of both worlds.

Similar thinking to myself there but I went down a few notches on the RG with the PC. I know exactly what you mean though.

I don't smoke many of them, but of I were forced to stick with one vitola it would be Churchill. When I have larger cigars they are smoked less often and appreciated more. There is also lots of choice both Cuban and non Cuban in this vitola.

If had to choose only one size have to be petite corona, something like a RASCC perfect size still lovely flavour and decent ring guage

Anything with a 50 ring gauge.. But if I have to choose one its got to be a Robusto.

I'm also edging towards the robusto perfect ring and length for me

Are those RASCC nice sticks? Been thinking about getting a few to try

...and on the vitola, so far for me it has to be the Belicoso, it's compact but has enough of everything in there that you need in a cigar; and like PeeJay said you can control the cut better I feel

Coffee/cream flavours? or is it more spice?

In terms of vitola, probably the Torpedo, but I love the Mag 50 so much, that it would definitely be a hard choice.
