Whats the bubbly white stuff?

This MONTECRISTO Open Regata was being a nuisance. At this relight i noticed a bubbling, white liquid.
What is that?

I had some white specs on the ash of a D4 last week. Googled it and it's quite harmless. Can't remember what it was though....

Noooo. That's what I thought it may be though.

High levels of Magnesium and/or Potash in the soil is the cause.

That seems to happen quite often when I need to re-light a cigar - I've never worried about it

Didnt notice popping. Looked like drops of white liquid on a hot plate.

Interesting. I will have to look closer at my ash when I smoke my next cigar and see if I have anything like that

It looks like blobs of molten lead.
