I'm just wondering about these -

But they get a box code?
For example - GKI OCT 04
So I'm guessing that means that the sticks were boxed in that factory, rather than made in that factory?

The most logical thing would be that it was the factory they were boxed in. I would hope.
Although that being said, the ryj and monte don't have a robusto size - so they'd have to be rolled specifically for the boxes.......
Has anyone had a box of these?
And if so - what were your thoughts?
I wish my palate was advanced enough for a blind tasting..... I wonder what the difference would be...

I think it is the case that the codes are from where they're boxed rather than where they're rolled, but my assumption would be that a lot/most of the time they are one and the same

The biggest issue with these is they all taste of the cedar box they were packed in. The code will be the factory they were boxed in, not necessarily where they were rolled.

My two boxes have just the one code so yeah I'm guessing it's where they where boxed
