    Dear Moderators

I have found some disturbing comments re Mitchell Orchant and C. Gars Ltd on another forum.

I am allowed to post a link so that we can discuss it or will there be unhappiness from the moderators?

Rather than start a potential war between forums, you are probably better directing the man to the comments
and let him deal with it himself.

      Sounds interesting.

I for one use Cgars and have not any reason to be unhappy with either their supply or service.

A fair and open discussion should not be a problem surely, but it's not for me say.

There was an internet, twitter-y, thing at the back of last year regarding allegation of fakes. Is that the one?

That is not my intent at all.

I believe that the comments/accusations may be relevant as many of us are Mitchell Orchant and C. Gars customers.

Better to address it and move on or just to play like the comments/accusations were not made?

If you have any issue with him or his business I think you should take it up with him. I for one to not want to have rumour, hearsay or possible slander on the forum.

As a new member I'd steer away from anything that may inflame discussion on here, or you may be considered a trouble maker. This all seems a little artificially constructed to me; a new member linking to discussions on other forums which would be inflammatory.

Linking to another forum isn't allowed anyway.

A very loaded question. If the comments/accusations were made on another forum, let them deal with it.

For what it's worth if I may put my two pennath forward , Mitch and cgars has a fantastic reputation for quality products and service , as we all know in this life you can't please all the people all the time and no matter how successful one may be in business there will always be those who criticize . I would treat the accusations with a pinch of salt and move on .

Can only agree, they have a top notch customer service ethic that you just don't see elsewhere.

While I take the reviews on there with a pinch of salt (Incas anyone?) when my Palio developed a fault it was replaced without question at no cost to myself.

To me good customer service sorts the good from the bad in retail and Cgars are firmly in the former category.

There have been several accusations with regard to mitch, none have been about EMS sold in the UK so if your buying from cgrs ltd you should be fine

You could tell me anything you want about the company and I would have a hard time believing it, simply because I have never, ever had as good a service from any other company than c.gars.

                      Down with the haters. Booooooo.

Nope. It's not, although that was mentioned as well.

I am not sure if that was direct towards me as I never mentioned any issues I had or if you are making a comment in general re service issues. Anyhow, I am a happy C. Gars customer and have spent a lot with them. Always had great service.

I am not sure how to read this. Are you saying that new member are not as valuable to the forum as older members? Are you saying that free speech does not apply to the new members? If this is a form of censorship or a threat then just come out and say it. I have no interest in participating is a censored forum or being threatened by the "Thought Police." If have have misunderstood your comment then I apologise.

That is why I asked before posting the link. I did read in the rules that promotion of other forums in not allowed, but this is in fact about a supplier many of us use and not about promoting another forum.

Do you mean the out of date website some fool started up? Specifically the website devoted to slandering Mitchell?
Yes, such a thing exists. But it's very old.

As for free speech not applying to new members, that's wrong. We all have to be careful this day and age with who we may or may not upset. I think what we all mean is that we all need to careful how we word things, so that what we say can't be misinterpreted.

As rob said, it's not a free speech forum the same way it's not a free speech world. Libellous, grey market, racist, etc etc discussions are not permitted for obvious reasons. New member or not.

It just appeared to me you were looking to stir trouble.
