Hey hey it's Mr B - After a quick smoke.
How we all doing? LONG time no see!
I hate to say it, but I have been neglecting the cigar gods for the past year and a bit; i've moved to a new place with the misses and my only outside area is a courtyard [it's a little box] with little sunshine outside of the summer months, it's like a wind tunnel too, blowy as hell. Not like the ol' parents place with a sprawling 30 meter garden sadly. So the winter months have had little offerings to the might brothers of the leaf upstairs.
I've also been very busy with my business which has taken off like a house on fire. So the question I bring to you is. Also, how about the Chinchaleros, I remember that they were reasonably priced for what you got.
I'm after a good solid 15-20-25[!] minute smoke. I actually bought some hamlets yesterday which I have been enjoying I hate to say it, I've always hated to be one of those people who say this, but I don't have the time for my longer smokes, outside of the weekend of course [IF the weather is good, and IF I fancy an hour or 2 to smoke]. That's what I get for investing in robustos and churchills, doh!
The little 10 minute kick these little dust-bullets [hamlets] give aren't bad, but they're FARE from good. But then again i'm out of practice and need a good kicking in the right direction.
I was thinking of going with some Jose L Piedras for a cheap whip around, but I know they can be grassy out the box, so i'm looking to invest in something half decent.
What's the word on the street these days for a good 15 minuter or so? Coffee on the table with me and the spring sunshine is coming, and there's a space in the humi for a new family member.
I remember a cuban brand with a red band which had a good reputation around here, was it Flor de cano or something?
worth mentioning: I'd favour a fatter ring gauge over a skinnier pantella, as the small gauges can get quite hot/bitter if you're not too careful.
