Foot damage

Picture this...

You buy some cigars. They arrive, and you feverishly unwrap them only to find one has suffered some foot damage. It's one you'd planned of storing in the humi for a while and not one you were gonna smoke that evening.

Would you complain?

That should burn without an problem but if you're not happy then yes, complain. Send them the photo.

for one stick i would maybe let them know and they might send you a little extra next time but i would not return it

Get some cake glue from eBay and repair it, I'd just file that one under "shit happens"

Actual honest to God pet hate of mine. That would be something that I would obsess over now!

Me personaly i'd get in touch and say what happened, and maybe show them a photo of the damaged cigar
if packed properly cigars shoulden't get damaged in the post.

Yeah, I'm a little like that too! I know it's gonna go up in smoke, and as PeeJay says, it'll burn just right, I just hate the idea of it getting more torn up down the line.
