I better not think about the spending, but I would never buy anything on credit other than a house. Everything else, if I can't afford it, I probably don't need it... 😊

That's very accurate! I never spend more than I can afford and I would only buy an apartment or a house on credit.

I do use my credit card for online purchases, mainly for security reasons. I make sure I pay off what I spend at the end of the month though. It's like anything such as how many beers you buy, bottles of whisky, etc. Over the course of a year, the amount would shock a fair few of us I'd imagine. As long as you're spending within your means and not in debt at the end of the year, just enjoy it all.

Good thing about credit cards is The protection to all kinds of scenarios: it could be that the shop you bought it from went into liquidation and you didn't get your goods, or the airline you just booked your holiday with went bust, leaving you having to pay for new flights. Maybe the item you ordered never arrived – or when it did it was faulty or vastly different from the seller's description.

Probably spend about ?400/500 a year on smokes and accessories but I have been so sick this past 8 months with pneumonia I almost sold the lot and got rid of my collection. Thankfully the sun came out a few weeks back and I managed to get a nice Bolivar LE 2009 in me, which quashed such stupid talk . Trips to Geneva, Munich and Bratislava and the folks both non smokers going to Dubai its time to build the collection whoop whoop.

candidly I tend to spank a credit card from time to time. Then pay it off while I play with the purchases... but always pay it off as with wine/spirits I tend to binge buy, but try to buy smart whenever.....

There are very few things in this life that accumulate value that you can buy with a credit card.... so in the no matter how smart you buy, add an awful APR to it and your deal has vanished.

All of that was a neat way to distract myself from the bill....this year under a grand. Last year c500..... rest of this year? Who knows.....

i only buy what i can afford , i don't add up the cost
i believe when you buy cigars you are also buying time
if something with age comes up i fancy , il buy , that way everything else is ageing
with enough boxes , smoke on rotation , everything ages nicely without trying
for me i like 3 years + on some Cubans , more on others , thats just me
gone are the days of buying singles with an unknown age .
guess its a learning curve .

What is the reason for most of us not adding the cost up.
Mine is because I know it goes over.

I have no idea how much I've spent. Only pay cash, no cash no purchases ! If you split it up into hours of pleasure to ? then I would imagine it's a pretty good hourly rate.

Very good smooth and chocolate iirc. Nic hit wasn't too strong either. All in all a very very nice smoke.
