No on another forum where smoking a large RG cigar was likened to sucking c**k
I have actually read an old post of TJ on here calling the other forum where politics often get brought up and people who smoke big cigars must be poofs as its like smoking the beef

TJ is on several forums so he could have been talking about something different of course.

To my (and a few other people who have talked to him on the side) belief, he is only one this one and has just peeped up on FoH recently.
Not other ones which is quite odd for the Mexicant...
Hoping this may bump him back to the forum. Wherever he is.
On the verge of upping my spending by a good few hundred quid, gonna be getting a Scubador too thanks to @Wigan
I think the scuba box is an excellent addition for anyone. Even you guys with the fancy display humidors as it can used as overflow or for stuff that's going to laid down for years.
I am getting to the end of many of my boxes, do you guys move the dregs of various cigars to one box so you can take empty boxes out or is mixing and matching sacrilege?

Not sacrilege Rob but if you have the space the boxes help to stabilise the humidity. Hence MLW is happy with all the 'empty' boxes in my display case.

Oh, I mix and match all the time. Most people's towers that I see are mixed, too. The worst offender are the petit coronas with boxes. Last box I just married were some '06 Diplomaticos 2s and some '11 VR Unicos. Saves storage space now that I have around 10-15 boxes lying in plastic bags on the floor. I will need a new coolidor (or two) soon...
Really, there's no point in keeping some half empty boxes. When you get two half empty boxes, just put them together and remove the other box. Write on the bottom what they are, though. What's especially tedious are my cigar bombs when i get singles. I just organise them in small wooden boxes and fit as many in there as possible. I'm not going to keep them single around my humidor so i just use old boxes for that.
For some reason, there's a local myth of cigars marrying flavours. This may be true with those absolute shite infused cigars or other cheapos. But generall, there is no mixing at all - especially with the 100% natural process of the Cuban cigars (generally)
Worked out that in 8 months I have spent 2k on cigars but only smoked about 1k.
Not counting storage, lighters, ashtrays, tweed smoking jackets etc.
For comparison in the same time I would have spent about 2k smoking cigs if I hadn't stopped.
Was wondering if you guys would be willing to share how much you lot spent if its not too personal a question?
Been tempted many times wigan to get the calculater out and start mounting the cost , just to see how much it's cost me to date
but as soon as I turn it on hands start trembling and goes back in the draw.
