I spent about ?70 / month so far this year, I can imagine it's going to remain the same, this is after I have all the gear (need a good lighter still) and a decent stash which cost me about ?1200. I think i'm going to buy a little smarter now and build as I smoke on about ?100/month budget.
500 per year I'd expect. I don't smoke often and usually pick my sticks up when abroad, only occasionally buying at UK money. A reasonable amount of my Humi stock came from Dubai airport, it was after that visit I needed a humidor.
I spent nearly ?3,500 last year (needless to say I was quite shocked when I discovered that!). It is going to be considerably less this year with the baby and my wife working part time (or not at all), I haven't bought any cigars so far in 2015
It is probably true for most here that at the beginning of this hobby you send quite a lot building up stock after a few years it slows down as you just than top up
I think I spend more going out to cigar events, having drinks when meeting up with fellow bolt than I do on cigars now
But the best policy is not to think to much about it other wise it does come as quite a shock especially with London prices
Yes, Wigan, ?20 per quarter sounds way under a realistic budget unless you are just smoking a very modest cigar once a fortnight. I would expect to push that up to ?50 to be practical, that's enough for a decent smoke every other week & some thing cheaper inbetween.
As to my own spending sinve Jan 2014, well there was Ade Uk's collection, then Larryson's. Box of LGC No3 & 4, the herf cost mevcwell over a grand & although I managed to avoid additional until New Year I have spent ?500 since on splits & shares with Martyn & another box of LCG No4's. Over the same time frame I have smoked around 200, so the collection is still growing.

i have been lucky that over the last month ive had the time to enjoy many cigars with friends and family, almost one a day. which by my standards is herculean.
this is likely to continue this weekend then i aim to cut back. im down to my last d4 which i might have for breakfast tommorow and i have some petit no 2 on the way. I want to stock up more but this might have to wait till summer. I think this year im likely to spend about 2k
I don't think I want to even take the time to think about it
Got to be near the ?6000 mark in the last year but possibly more if you include the group buys I did last month that was ?5000 + in a month

About 2.5-3k over the last year. I did buy a Favourbrook smoking jacket which was ?900, and the rest has been in building up my selection of cabs that I smoke regularly to build up aged stock, and a few boxes of Edicion Limitadas...
While I'm quite taken back by the spend involved, I'm not put off at how deep this rabbit hole can go... Given the money I've spend on other areas of my life, I can handle spending some pennies to put a smile on my face every now & then.
