• NCs to start out on?

OK so I am going to try some NCs just to try em out.

Can any of the people more versed in NCs advise what would be a nice one to start with or sample? I am genuinely curious. Finger hovering over buy buttons now but have no clue what i am ordering.

Is Rocky Patel a good start?

Obviously its going to have to be NCs available in the UK so my initial recommendations would be an Alec Bradley Prensado and a Rocky Patel The Edge Lite, but only because I like them. A lot of good NCs aren't readily available here like Brick House and Drew Estate.

Ok went your advised. Ordered one of each from Rocky Patel (platinum robusto) and Alec Bradley. The bands look awesome on them I will say that

Rocky Patel and Alec Bradley are a decent place to start but have a browse on some of the American websites just to check out the enormous range that they have available to them. It might affect your next choice of holiday destination. Obviously I can't name any here.

I've had a few Rocky's, and while I have enjoyed them, the construction has been very poor, but maybe I was just unlucky.
I've had a Alec Bradly Nica Puro and it was amazing.
My favourite NC though is the Flor De Las Antillas. They are superb, as good as most CC's for me, better than some even.

I agree wholeheartedly on the Flor de Las Antilles Parnaby but Jonny is restricted to what he can find here at the moment.

They are available on a very popular online UK retailer as far as I know. Isn't that also the sponsor of the site?

That's what happens when you don't spell it the same way! Sorry Jonny, next order.

By the way parnaby, you can name any UK retailers on here, especially that one!

They have quite a big hit for a newbie though despite being delicious
