I think he is legendary and his videos are very entertaining. he seems like a very successful man and im sure he knows a hell of a lot more about cigars than some give him credit for.

that being said i dont think i would chew them up like he does or smoke 12 in day, but im never likely to own my own cigar shop

Wether i owned a shop or not ,don't think i'd be able to smoke 12 in a day thats a lot of smoke to get through
especialy the ring guage he likes 52 upwards.

Having the money to buy your own retail outlet does not make you an expert in the wares. That said I don't have a clue what knowledge he does or doesn't have, yet I do know from what I have seen that he and I have very different approaches to cigars.

The most complimentary thing I can say about LD (admittedly based solely upon what I have seen of him in his reviews) is that he perfectly compliments the target audience at his store.

From what you see of him in his videos , he's certainly a man who indulges in life's luxuries and has a passion for his chosen field and a certain eccentricity to his demeanour.

Think you have to have a bit of knowledge to run a cigar shop otherwise we woulden't last long in the buisness just my opinion.

I cant stop watching his videos, think he is a cracking guy and certainly getting talked about on here a lot just. Anyone know him and can get him to comment personally. Would certainly cut to the chase
