    If you marked an item with "perishable goods", would it be treated any differently from normal post?

    Just thinking about keeping cigars cool/humid, rather than hot/dry?

    Personally I don't bother with that. The chances the wording on a package making any difference to how it is processed through the system are slim to none. Besides it's only going to be out the Humi for a couple of days and if it's sent packaged in a zip-lock bag it will be absolutely fine.

      What he said. With all the videos on youtube of delivery's being thrown about etc I think writing anything prescribing caution with your package is likely to make them be more of a dick about delivering it

        The only way to hope to get RM to take care of a package it to make damage its responsibility by going the insured route.
