  • A touch of mild

MarkLondon is having his first cigar of the year on Friday and wants something really mild that won't inflame his delicate little throat, Cuban or non, lets have some suggestions and I'll see if I have one in my humidor

Hmm, I'm thinking the Davidoff Grand Cru (#3) for something mild, but very good.

    So, I vote NC!

ERDM Demi Tasse, small and cheap so not the greatest loss if he does not feel up to it after starting.

I thought they could be a little peppery, do they improve with age?

              Haha! Senor Brokenmakemineareyeswing is back!

While a great little puro, se?or...not sure I'd consider it very mild. But as usual, I could be wrong.

Hey Ray Jay! I just realized something...with posts like this, you can't loose.

(Harrumph!) You're a little late to the game, blu-balls. It's a little trick we've employed to...how you say...cover our asses!

Ummm, more like never taking a position, if you ask me.

Like most puros...YES they do improve with age and YES they can be a little peppery.

Hey el Perro! I just learned something....contrary to what Catalina Joy always tells us, there REALLY ARE DUMB QUESTIONS!!!.

Haha! Well done, blu-balls...well done! You are ready!

The mildest of Cuban cigars would seem appropriate.. and highly recommended from me- a Fonseca- (Cosacos or Cadetes) Smooth and mild but not lacking in flavour.
If he wants a little more spice then Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto would go down nicely.

Haha! Go down where, muchacho? Gimp

Heeheee, obviously I'm just kiddin' about, chico...but your comment on the Fonseca is interesting. I've never spent much time with these puros and I may just have to get to know 'em a little better this year.

                      Muchas Gracias! Peace

When I bought my first sticks, no one told me about the peppery thing.

Sorry guys, had to do that, The Mexicant complained recently (in the wedding cigars thread I think) that I hadn't mentioned the Trinidad Reyes because he thinks I mention it in every post (I checked back and in fact I only mention it in 48.92% of my posts)

Anyway, another cigar I recently enjoyed was the Por Larranaga Picadores, new but tasty right out of the box and certainly mild. If you don't like pepper it's a good stick.

Haha Im sure you know what I mean.. The intricacies of the English language do throw out some weird phrases sometimes.
Im sure theres a Mexican/ Spanish equivalent:

Go Down well, maybe something like 'bien recibido'.. Or failing that 'Muy buena' Thats thanks to google translate not my spanish skills!!
