Yupp. These bands have features that OP's bands don't:
-Raised letters.
-Embossed bands.
-Actual Gold lettering.
-Dark orange-yellow instead of a faded yellow.
-Shiny Maduro 5 raising.
-Squares are less bulky than the fake ones.

Looking at Mo's, 2 out of 5 have darker yellow than the other three.

The "Habana, Cuba" also appears to be sized differently compared to COHIBA than the ones on wolfies.

yea , the more you compare the bands the more fake they look
the cigars dont look to good to be honest

Having seen these in the flesh I have no doubt these are fake. The pictures are actually pretty flattering IMO.

I just read this, given that you have seen them I think you will be right. We can all make comment after seeing photos of the bands etc but nothing beats a fellow BOTL having seen them in the flesh and come to that conclusion. My rule is.. If there's any doubt- they are probably not the real deal.

What does the guy who got the other half think??

I have smoked a good amount from the Maduro 5 line and to be fair they have all been very rough looking cigars, from legit UK Suppliers. One thing i noticed (to my eyes) that some of these do look a little box pressed and no Cohiba's are box pressed........

(or could be squeezed through bed shipping, packaging etc)

From the pictures I can not offer a conclusive position.

The M5 line has produced some pretty rough looking sticks but the apparent lack of embossing on the Cohiba lettering is a concern.

Ring gauge variance can happen over 7-8 years (these are '07s apparently?).

Fire one up, should be quite a nice, melow'ish smoke. The strength mellowed on these a few years ago. If it is a dry/spice bomb/harsh I would have suspicions.

But ultimately it nearly always comes down to trust your source, if you don't you will always have doubts in these kind of cases.
