A De-Nicotined cigar would be like a prostitute that doesn't put out......If that makes sense?

It would probably taste like alcohol free beer compared to beer.
          Three Laws are:
          1. A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
          2. A robot must obey the orders given to it by human beings, except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
          3. A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

If you made a cigar out of another substance other than tobacco you could but tobacco belongs to the genus nicotina , hence where you get nicotine from the alkaloid in tobacco

                - different materials
                - nicotine isn't the bad thing. Nitrosamines are.
                - age a cigar for more than 20 years and they will have little to no more nicotine in them.

Some more than others. Of course, a Salamones will lose nicotine much slower than a half corona for a variety of reasons.
But it's generally regarded that nicotine, tannic acids, polymers, and other large and/or volatile molecules in cigars degrade over time making an aged cigar a smoother cigar.

I suspect "they" can, but as senor lovegod noted, what would be the point?

Good analogy..but according to Ray Jay, they exist.

I thought we had all agreed that it wasn't an addiction just a hobby and we arnt addicted then why do you need / want the nicotine?

I don't think we do need it, but if you now started to take it away it would mentaly feel like you are getting half measures.

Maybe there is an element of dancing with the devil? We all know smoking in any form is potentially addictive and harmful and maybe that's all part of the fun? Like riding bare back or playing Russian roulette?

Smoking is more habit than addiction.

The nicotine only stays in your body for a few hours, so if you are a casual smoker (1 a day or say 3 a week) like quite a lot of the other members on the forum then it should not be an issue.
