Cigar Modification

So.. Have you ever modified a cigar to add flavour or make it different to its original format? Saw a guy on a US forum store his cigars in a jar above a drop of alcohol.. Port or rum I think, this was supposed to impart flavour into the cigars.

Some of you might have seen Ralfy on youtube. (He usually samples malt whisky.) He put a video on where he added peat to his cigar..

The only thing Ive done is allowed a cigar to dry out of the box for half a day before smoking. With a mild cigar like a HdM I think the result gets more flavour and smoke out of it.

Infused cigars are very popular in the States and you can find easy to follow instructions on how to do it on the web. What you don't do is dip them in drinks like Winston Churchill was said to do.

No Ive never fancied that. Enjoyed a couple of Vanilla/Honey flavoured cigars in the past.
