You lot must be getting sick of me lol.

Finally sat down with another El rey Demi tassi which I found to be a lovely cigar, the predraw was gorgeous.

Im trying to keep to the one draw every minute as it does seem to improve the flavour. Only problem is I'm having to relight it after every draw... It won't stay lit. I can't understand what I'm doing wrong.. It's been in a humidor with a boveda pack (69%) for a few days..

Not getting sick of you at all. Lol

It a funny one as I haven't had that problem myself, are you getting the cigar good and lit? Proper red at the end when you draw from it?

Are you getting a mouth full of smoke when you suck?

Silly question I know but have you had a really good draw and loads of smoke out of it so it's going well or just a little puff every now and then

I'm smoking it in the car with the heater on. I Toasted it first then lit the whole way round the foot so it was lighting up nice and red and even. I'm taking big mouthfuls each time.

The cigar was quite soft before I lit it so maybe it could be something to do with the humidity?

That should eliminate ambient humidity as the problem.

What's your advice for this El rey then? Got half left, throw it or save it for later with some matches?

If it really won't burn then bin it. It won't taste very good later as the rest of the stick is now contaminated.

Soft isn't necisarily bad. Acording to Castro it's often ideal.

Are you driving while you smoke it? I tried that a couple times and really struggled.

Sounds like the cigar has somehow absorbed to much humidity, but at 69% it shouldn't be going out every minute. My personal taste is that 69 is to wet anyway, dampens the flavour in my opinion and I prefer a drier cigar.

Haha I'm struggling to keep it lit using all my concentration and both hands and feet so no I'm not driving. Waiting outside my girlfriends work to pick her up. Luckily there's an asda next door I'll pop in and get some matches and try I think.

Could ps be a crap lighter or even crap gas?
