Hello,
I'm new to this forum. I've tried cigarettes in the past and found them tasting horrible. I thought I'd give cigars a try as I hear about people saying that they are going to have a nice glass of wine or a cigar to help unwind. I get very stressed out and wound up over everything throughout the day, no matter how small and at the end of the day I'd like to think of something to go back to to help me relax and enjoy. The only alcoholic drink I can stand is baileys so a nice glass of wine or scotch is out the question.
I went and bought some cafe creme and hamlet cigars yesterday and tried them but they just tasted like a cigarette to me, just a cloud of burning smoke in my mouth. I've seen lots of people talk about the "taste" of a cigar but I couldn't taste anything... The one thing I will say is after the one cigar I felt much happier and in a better mood but that could just be psychological..
Am I doing something wrong? Trying the wrong cigars? Is the taste something you acquire over the time? Or am I one of the unlucky ones that can't appreciate a cigar? Would be nice to just sit down with a glass of baileys and a nice tasting cigar..
