I think tippexx has hit the nail on the head. It's down to advertising and hence readership. I know everyone's taste is individual and you might love something I hate, but the fact that there were only 3 Cubans in last year's Top 25 says a lot about CA's intended audience. It's best to treat these things as a bit of fun or, in my case, some structure and ideas for a newbie negotiating the vast selection of NCs.

I concur, amigo. Nice stick, for sure, but not the best of 2014, in my opinion - especially at the price ($16 US)!

I ran one last year and I'll do it again after Christmas, we don't have enough members to do a top 25 but the top three were the Montecristo Number 2, coincidentally the same as Cigar Afficianado then in equal second place was the Bolivar Gold Medal and the El Rey del Mundo Choix Supreme

Brand of the year was also Montecristo.
