When Years Don't Matter!

Friend of my son bought him back a box of 5 Jose L Pedra cigars at portugal airport duty free shop.
My question is should the box have a code number on it, or is the code on the bigger box that the 5 packs come in.

As others have said, not bloody likely to be counterfeits! And in all honesty, your son's friend no doubt selected them because of the low, low price!

Now, having said that, the so-called Box Date for this particular puro is of no consequence since they'll likely taste the same no matter what year you smoke 'em in.
