I'm curious to know whether or not storing a cut cigar is better than storing a non-cut cigar. I would think both ends being cut would allow for better flow of air in a humidor.

I've a number of cut or punch sticks in humidors and it'll do no harm. Mind you, that's not your question ay?
There may be some aficionados or a small club of people who have informed opinions on this, but I'm a little like yourself in as much that I feel it could allow a fuller transference of air/RH whatever through the entire body of the cigar. Tobacco being the property it is, absorption of any of these type of elements is going to happen over time anyhow. However, I'd struggle to appreciate that flow though the humidor"Go you good things...geddem int'ya"

Haha! I wouldn't worry so much about the "air flow" as I would in the event you later become a PUNCH HOMBRE!!!
What then, amigo???

The Troya I smoked last week was pre-cut or more accurately not capped. Whilst on holiday I have taken to cutting my cigars before I leave the room because it's often not bright enough in the bars. I seem to recall earlier in the year that a member to member sale included some cigars the seller had already cut.'Cigars are a hobby, cigarettes an addiction'

IT should be capped but simply cut with a giant, dull puncher. Shame as it ruins the whole ritual for me.

I have smoked half a cigar, let it go out, cut it back past any signs of burn and chucked it back in the humidor to smoke when I gat in from work and it was fine. I don't think the end being cut with make one jolt of difference.
