Good smokes Simon but bit big for a first one? (Ooh Matron!)

My first was a Romeo y Julieta Petit Julieta, rather nice but I made a complete arse of it trying to smoke it like a cig even though I got tuition form the bar manager at CASC!

I would recommend going for a Petit Corona in a brand that particularly catches your eye, a Montrecristo No 4 is the obvious choice given how popular it is (although I'm not a fan). There are plently of others to choose from as well. Anything too big will be too much to be honest

If you're going to a Brick and Mortar in London I would walk into JJ Fox and speak to the staff there and tell them you'd like to sample a cigar in their sampling room upstairs but say you're new to cigars and am not sure where to start, they'll take you through everything, although you probably work away from the shop with more than you intended

Sound like good suggestions Simon, I'm tempted by the heavyweight size, so may have to pick up a Romeo and Juliet as well to try. Looking forward to chilling and unwinding, along with a single malt of course

Nope just me mistaking our newest member for someone else, getting all excited and carried away with it and generally making a fanny of myself (again)

Its nothing to get alarmed at Djaskew, I do it quite regularly, just nod, smile and carry on about your business.....and take pictures when you have your first smoke. Post in HERE in case you hadn't already found it

That's all good then, it did take me a bit by surprise...not even taken my first puff and being outed as a clandestine cigar smoker!
