  • Which would you smoke out of these...

If you had the time, and had to pick one to smoke, which would you choose?
I've got free time tomorrow and in a dilemma of what to smoke?

    1. Ramon Allones Specially Selected LE 2011
    2. Behike 54
    3. Partagas P1, from jar 2009
    4. Partagas Serie E No.2
    5. El Rey de Mundo Choix de L Epoque UK RE 2009
    6. Bolivar Royal Corona 2010

    Many thanks

P1's popular. What's the story there?

How much is a jar of P1's, and can they be bought from UK, or abroad?
                  Thanks,

I'm developing into a Partagas fan, but never had a P1 so I couldn't recommend it. It would have to be the E2. Then again, I did enjoy a Boli RC with a few years on it last night. Otherwise, I'm still new enough that I'd always recommend trying one you've not had before, but I'm assuming you're not in that position? I guess that was no help whatsoever!

                        thanks Undercover

I think I may be leaning toward the P1 then…
                        Spoilt for choice really.

I've not tried any of them before apart from the
BHK54, and BRC (but not an aged Boli Royal Corona).

                        Just don't don't want to be disappointed…
I hate when you set time aside, fire up, are disappointed
and feel like you've wasted a good smoking opportunity.

I might just take my humi with me in to the garage,
and if I do blank out with the first smoke,
                        then fire up a next...

I hear/read so much about the benefits of ageing, but I've only ever experienced it with the BRC. The 1st one I had was very new. It was nice, but unimpressive. I had the chance of getting some older ones and the difference was/is astounding. Might as well be a different cigar.

I know what you mean about disappointment. I hate walking away wishing I'd had something else instead. You're right, of course: spoiled for choice and I suspect you wouldn't be disappointed with any of the cigars on your list. Looking forward to finding out what you think of the P1!
