son is thinking of getting a xikar cutter the xikar2 is the one he likes the look of till he showed me the video's
now he's not too sure wether to go for it anyone else that uses one have the same issues whether it's the i..2..or 3
Told him to go for a palio cutter instead if not too sure .
Any aficionado's on here that have the xikar and palio which would you honestly reccomend he goes for .

Be careful of reviews, video or otherwise. Even the very best products have fans and haters. I don't have a Xikar but I thought they offered a lifetime guarantee in which case what's the issue? I have an old V cutter from the 20's and some free ones and a punch and all cut beautifully. I've used a Xikar and it also cut perfectly. If you buy one and it has a dodgy cut you can just exchange it. Buy in a shop not online, then you can try it on the cigar you smoke while you're there.
