And butters is right, to help future BOTL's it is better to make your titles relevant to the thread. It then becomes searchable.

Have never used a punch. Always an Xikar Xi3 or Xi2. May have to look into punching rather than slicing the end off creating at times the draw of a wind tunnel!

        I always punch.
and if it's not big enough, which is only the case if having draw issues, then I re punch making the hole larger.

          I've never had this issue.

I have a nice Xikar keyring punch but it's a little large for some sticks, so I'm currently trying to justify the price of the Credo.

What more justification do you need than wanting it? It seems to work for women and shoes/clothes/handbags......

It comes down to spending ?40-50 on a punch, when I could buy cigars instead basically.

I paid ?1.95 for my jetting punch and it's brilliant. I have a larger one on a lighter that john got for me.

That would never happen but I bought her a classy lighter from Canada via Amazon; chrome with pink highlights, so she's happy. And yes, classy things can come from Canada before anyone asks!

Been reading up on them xikar cutters like everything else some like them some don't
smokers that don't like them seen to say you don't get a clean cut kind of leaves a step in the middle of the cigar
3 different clips on youtube clearly shows after cutting the cigars in the middle they diden't stand upstraight
son is thinking of getting a xikar cutter the xikar2 is the one he likes the look of till he showed me the video's
now he's not too sure wether to go for it anyone else that uses one have the same issues whether it's the i..2..or 3
Told him to go for a palio cutter instead if not too sure .
Any aficionado's on here that have the xikar and palio which would you honestly reccomend he goes for .

                                ANY TRUTH IN THIS

Be careful of reviews, video or otherwise. Even the very best products have fans and haters. I don't have a Xikar but I thought they offered a lifetime guarantee in which case what's the issue? I have an old V cutter from the 20's and some free ones and a punch and all cut beautifully. I've used a Xikar and it also cut perfectly. If you buy one and it has a dodgy cut you can just exchange it. Buy in a shop not online, then you can try it on the cigar you smoke while you're there.
