  • Christmas Cigars!

Before anyone starts, yes I know we have only just entered November!

Never the less the festive period will be upon us before you know it!

Just wondered what people would be lighting up on the big day?

P.S Anyone that doesn't celebrate Christmas for whatever reason feel free to ignore this post

This is probably one of those days when family obligations will outweigh the chance of a cigar.....unless I'm so miserable she sends me off to the garage

I'm very much with you on that one except when I have something special planned like today, just enjoying a 1998 SLR Lonsdale that Martyn gave me and planning how to burgle his stash, it is delicious!

Those really are a treat, worthy of a box purchase for certain...

Luckily I've left it up to my brother to sort the smokes out this year as I did the last, looking forward to something succulent after the turkey!

As it happens I have already given this some serious thought. Firstly because I am actually off for Chrimbo this year (& New Yr) & so will be going with the family to our Belgian friends house. They both smoke small cigars but dinner consists of many small courses 20-30mins apart before we finally get to sit down for a meal. So a few small & very old panatelas to start with, something that will go with champagne. They usually open half a dozen bottles & it's rude not too. They collect these on a trip to the Champagne district in the spring. For the newer members, here's a couple of pics taken at their house on prev yrs.
The first was a 1932 la Corona & amazing still had a good tobacco taste!

I love the idea of small courses instead of one massive blow out Simon
