Vehicle humidor

Hey guys
As some of you know I work away a lot so most weeks I'm living out of my van. Most of my smoking is while driving at this time of year meaning, I keep a few sticks in a csonka travel humidor. Now I'm aware this isn't the best sealing humidor but I've always managed that we'll enough, however the recent mentions of temperature has made me wonder. Is there anyway of keeping cigars in a vehicle 'safely?
Obviously a cool box would work but is far to large. Would an ammodor with maybe an mdf lining clad with cedar buffer the temperature enough?

Surely a Lock-n-lock tupperdor is ideal?

Edit: But I don't worry about temperature too much.

Ammodor!! No need to line with MDF, just use some old cigar boxes to line, that's what I done and so have a few others.

I'd say carry on using your current kit: if it's big enough and holding humidity adequately, why not wrap it up in a small quilt type thingy to keep everything cosy-rosy

Or what about wrapping the sticks in cling film then place in the travel humi, would that insulate them from temp changes?

I'd imagine not as cling film would have very few if any thermal properties at cold. I think it is more to protect the surface of food etc from a freeze type burn. I might be wrong though

How about one of those foil padded envelopes a certain online vendor uses?

Wide mouth food flask and a small boveda small and compact easily hold a weeks supply

Cheers guys some really intresting ideas. I like the idea of a little quilt for my current box as it's foamed to stop movement....The food flask idea has a touch of genius tho I think it would work best with all the same vitola...

True, [emoji106] . I have just seen a few people unwrap cling film cigars from cases and wondered if there was a reason. That was the best I could come up with [emoji1]

The flask one is genius as long as you can keep the cigars from bashing around in there. Foam insert and off you go. Thermogarador?

That's why I think different sizes would cause problems to much movement room.

Regards movement I would imagine what ever you place your cigars in would be treated with the utmost care considering its precious contents

Why not just pop the Csonka into a wide-mouth flask?
