The RH in my 7 Drawer humi has risen and is stabilising at 73% to 74%. My house is about that humidity at the minute so I am struggling to bring it down. I can't just leave the door of my cabinet open and let it dry out a bit. I need something inside it to absorb some of the moisture. I have currently removed all my humidification devices (acro polymer crystals) and still it is sitting this high.
I've not tried these Boveda pouches yet but from what I have read on here over the past few weeks, these are the way I need to go.
Are the 69% pouches going to be effective enough to bring down the RH from where it is now?
Which size pouches should I get?
And finally how many?
I have read about re-charging these pouches so I believe I am going to want to cycle them so I shall be ordering twice the amount I should have in my Humi at any one time.
I have no room to place them vertically at the back on the box as the drawers butt firmly against the back panel. I think I'm just going to have to lay them in the drawers on top of my cigars which also from what I have read, shouldnt be a problem.... (just not as asthetically pleasing to the eye!)
