Couple of grams diff really is nothing.
Whether it be more filling, or heavier/thicker leaves within the roll.

Although I know nothing at all about it, a variation of about 30% seems quite large. Would it take about 30% longer to smoke the larger Montecristo?

Weight is a good way to pick up an underfilled or overfilled stick, not used scales before but just one of those things you pick up over time in hand

Moisture, amount of tobacco used …these will affect i) weight and ii) burn rate.

You could get an over filled cigar, over humidified, burn slow.
You could get an overfilled dry cigar burn steadily.
A dry under filled cigar would burn the quickest.

Too many factors involved I think to determine any noticeability…
But hey - I'm no scientist
