Cohiba, RyJ or Bolivar would be my preference.
you could always find a nice box of the Cohiba Sublime Extra and sell ten here............

    08s... 08s.... 08s......
Are the Libertadores 07s or 08s? I remember them having TEB box codes and were absolutely STELLAR!!

Jun and July are good. lots of JUL box codes than any other cigars (that i've found)

      Interesting, thank you

Sorry for the thread hijack Budgie..

To add tho, how about thinking of which brand you enjoy and see what RE was released in that year. Something different to the normal release cigars without the LE premium price tag

'08 was a very good year. I say go for regular production of something that should age well. Plpcs, party lusi, sir Winston. Cohiba Lanceros or sig VI's were great in '08.

I'm going to throw out a non Cuban... The Liga Privada no.9 were fantastic, not sure they age well though...

As your looking for a ten box bolivar Royal corona tubo, cohiba siglo VI or partagas lusitania. But your going to probably have to take what you can get with an 08 code

A ten box if Siglo VI would be a lovely way to celebrate. I'm not sure about getting an 08 box though as they're pricy with age. I'd go for a nice box of ten from your fave source, ask the shop/shops you intend to use for their box code lists and search for 08 boxes. I don't think the cigar is as important as the sentiment. Just buy what you can get and like. That's my suggestion anyway.

The Siglo's look amazing, any recommendations for suppliers via PM would be most appreciated.

Don't know, I have been sitting on them for 6 years. Would love to get more. Got a long wait for my 2013s to come round.

As I said in my last post your probably going to have to ask your vendors what 08 boxes they have or go to auction and see what you can find. Ginemo in Barcelona did gave an aged ten of siglo vi but can't remember if it was 08 or 06 but you would need someone to pick up.

Yeah we're in the same boat then. What shall we do. If you find a good deal on some aged stock and want a partner in crime let me know. They are unbeatable for me.

I've been able to source the below with s 2008 box code (all boxes of 25):

                                H. Upmann Magnum 46
                                Sancho Panza Molinos
                                Hoyo de Monterey Epicure Especiale
Hoyo de Monterey Epicure No. 2

The only one I've tried is the Epi 2 which I really enjoyed and the Sancho seems to have very favourable reviews when aged.

All are available for a good price, certainly better than the ?550+ I'm seeing for Siglo IV!
