For what it's worth from my experience.
I never think about shrinkage.
18 month is a very short period in ageing cigars.
No non professional hydrometer is consistent.
UV is the least of your worries if you are storing in direct sunlight.
For me 64-67ish is the sweet spot for smoking CC's.
