I can't understand why I haven't thought of a fire pit, especially as I have a quantity of seasoned wood in my shed.

Have a fire pit, but can't use it under the canopy. Fire hazard! I'm after some kind of gas heater but am limited by the height of the canopy. The canopy area is 12ft sq

And you can just toss the stub in when you've finished with it

Would not the hot exhaust gases be an issue too? You might be better of going for an electric patio heater

Power is potentially a problem... But I think you might be right...
So.... Electric heaters - anybody got them? Any recommendations?

I've been at a party where they had an electric radiant heater inside the top of a parasol and it was quite effective if you ignored the icy buttocks

I've got a gas outdoor patio heater actually really good..gives out plenty of heat. Just one tip remember to turn it off.

So if I'm outside I use a chimneya (or however you spell that!) the fuel is free or close to it if I but scraps from the lumber yard but the downside is that it is only any good if you can be bothered to light it. I am determined to get the shed done this winter.
