Fatcigar, in London if you just want a quiet smoke then head to the shops; JJ Fox or Dunhills, in St James's Street where you can purchase a good cigar and smoke in their sampling lounge. You are welcome to take in your own libation but they both offer complimentary cold water and coffee. There are several hotels with cigar patios but they tend to have a minimum spend on alcohol attached to them.
There's a roof terrace at the Great John Street Hotel in Manchester & I believe there's also an outdoor, covered cigar terrace at the Gaucho Grill, but I haven't been there myself.
For pubs there's a roof terrace at the Deansgate pub, an outside area at Brewdog and a large patio as well as a balcony at Dukes 92.
Alas we are totally lacking a cigar lounge/emporium of the type that can be found in London.
Why? Is that a prerequisite to smoking there? Was planning on going sometime soon.
No, anyone can smoke in the shop as normal but the lounge downstairs is a private members club. It is not open normally during the day unless members or guests are there.
However drop Ajay a line, tell him you are on UKCF and I would imagine he will extend his normal level of fantastic hospitality.
