I thought that none on here would know Fukasaku who is one of the most important Japanese film directors of the late 60s and early 70s and who revolutionized Japanese cinema with his yakuza films based on true accounts filmed in docu style with quasi epileptic camera moves. His Battles Without Honors and Humanity series is a good starting point for those who might be interested in his work.
