I guess it depends on the popularity cigar but when I asked them about the age of an order last years (when the couldn't tell me the age) they said most cigars are from between 2011 and 2013

Therein lies the nub, go to the shop and look at the box. When I had a Choix Supreme at JJs he just picked up the cabinet and read the date (2008)
