Maybe it's cause people associate cigars with weird old fogeys like Fidel and Churchill?
The looks I get sometimes when having a smoke it's as if I grew another head or something..
I think if people tried a nice ol' cuban they'd realize the joys

having said all this, the last couple of smokes ive had, people have actually come up and complimented me. a couple just today must have been in there early 20's.
the kind that would give you strange looks for smokign the cigar are probably the kind that would give you strange looks for doing pretty much anything different that isnt standardised, homogonised and pasturised
