Well after a thread based around my indecision the order is finally in , i have coming a (drum roll please) Trinidad Fundadores and a Cohiba Esplendidos!!
Read reviews on both and they piqued my intrest so thanks Marc.
Secondly I spoke to peejay about the birthday club and I don't think I could do a decent enough job as a bomber currently, so will wait and build some stocks up first.
So thank you everyone for all your input and I'll try and give my thoughts when I smoke them.

Straight from the Mons' mouth (RIP). He said that those 6 years is when they've been influsing a bit of honey and molasses to the caskets for ageing the leaves in the fundadores. they stopped after 05 as the blenders couldn't get it right... much like other cigars between 02-06
Gold bands stopped in 03. Methinks Mitch still has em on his site for a palatable price...Originally posted by ValeTudoGuyMarc's a Fat Molly

but that's besides the point. i think i kinda twisted the truth, a bit, i guess. it was more from the mouth of a well known BotL who frequents Cuba 2-3 times a year. He was who quoted Mons as the source for the information... so i guess it's a secondary sourceOriginally posted by ValeTudoGuyMarc's a Fat Molly

No worries but in our little cigar world of information and misinformation I think there is significant value in accuracy.Originally posted by Simon BolivarLittle medical correction there Steve, you will surely die...but not from smoking these
