I look upon various cigars in my collection and wonder which ones aren't as bad to sell. Those LGC No. 4s can always be recouped and so can the Siglo VIs and VR Unicos. Even, to some extent, the Bolivar Swiss Regionals and RyJ Reservas.
But certain cigars have a special place in my heart that i can't give up anymore. Within the first month of receiving them, i would give them out like Trick o' Treaters. But as i hold onto them for longer and longer, it gets harder and harder. I'll probably take the listings of the RyJ Reservas off soon. Not because i still don't need a few finances. But because i'll reflect in a year and wonder to myself: Why did I sell them? Was 45 bucks really that more important to me!?
I've already looked upon many of my half boxes of cigars and said the same thing. Time and time again, i keep saying the same thing. Much like concrete, time solidifies their presence and meaning in my life.
