i will wholeheartedly must object to that. you enjoyed the fruits of that, didn't you!?!

But seriously: Yupp... You're now making me reconsider. If i wouldn't sell any, why would i trade any? And tradings are done much more often than sales, in my collections.

I look upon various cigars in my collection and wonder which ones aren't as bad to sell. Those LGC No. 4s can always be recouped and so can the Siglo VIs and VR Unicos. Even, to some extent, the Bolivar Swiss Regionals and RyJ Reservas.
But certain cigars have a special place in my heart that i can't give up anymore. Within the first month of receiving them, i would give them out like Trick o' Treaters. But as i hold onto them for longer and longer, it gets harder and harder. I'll probably take the listings of the RyJ Reservas off soon. Not because i still don't need a few finances. But because i'll reflect in a year and wonder to myself: Why did I sell them? Was 45 bucks really that more important to me!?

I've already looked upon many of my half boxes of cigars and said the same thing. Time and time again, i keep saying the same thing. Much like concrete, time solidifies their presence and meaning in my life.

I rarely sell any of my cigars and if I do its to help the person looking for them. I prefer to trade intact box boxes unless its me who is looking then I want to pay money.

Over the last year I have given up lots of great boxes 1966,BHK52,520's cause some one local was SOL on grabbing most of it when they could or should of. I have been very fortunate to have my ISO thread answered by stand up BOTL so I figure I can give back...

As an investment... sure, I suppose once I am long gone someone will sell my stash and make a small fortune, well pass the amount I have put into it. Funny and sad how it could all take a moment and poof.. all liquidated, your whole lifes passion summed up into a dollar sign.

That's what I was trying to get across [Simon! ].
The longer I have a 'rare' cigar, the deeper it bores a place in my heart. Makes it darn near impossible for me to give it up after a while for its value...

I took it to a Google. Seems like it's a standard quote for the cigar.

No need to get your blood boiling, now, Si

Good oh! Wouldn't know off the top of my head - one of those nights. Bit sounds like the sort of drivel I write.

Speaking of which, you still owe us one of your sailin' stories. And perhaps add to that little review thread you started a long long time ago!
